Dignity and Value

The dignity and value of every client must be recognised and respected.

Personal Choice

Individuals must be allowed to exercise choice e.g. times, tasks Carers, etc. If the client is unable to exercise choice, an advocated should act on their behalf.

Information

Each client has the right to a detailed explanation of the service being offered including costs, replacement staff, other sources of help etc.

Privacy & Confidentiality

The clients right to privacy and confidentiality must be safeguarded. Information kept on clients should only be made available to the client on request and should only be given to other agencies with the permission of the client

Comments and Complaints

All clients have the right to complain if not satisfied with the service they are receiving (see complaints procedure)

Non-discrimination

Constance Care is committedto the principal of equal opportunities.

It is the aim of the company to ensure that no person receives less favourable treatment on the ground of sex, race, age, colour, creed, religion, sexuality or social status. We will not discriminate between clients who pay privately and those who do not.
